I’m in my final week of my 30-day challenge with MamaSezz and I hit my goal losing at least 5lbs! As of this morning I had lost 6lbs, and for someone that STRUGGLES to lose weight, this is a huge victory for me. I will mention I haven’t exercised… this is strictly from eating healthy, eliminating meat, dairy, sugar, oil, gluten, and other “bad stuff” from my diet.

This has been a huge eye-opener for me… while I would consider myself a “meat eater”, I haven’t really craved it during the program. I am receiving all my good protein from other things (lots of legumes!)

While I probably will go back to consuming meat, I AM going to adapt a healthier lifestyle I learned while following the MamaSezz program… I will continue to eat lots of greens and vegetables. That’s one thing I sadly admit, that we (my husband and I) just didn’t eat a LOT of vegetables… that will change. I can see the benefits of eating a plant based diet.

The biggest plus with this program, was the fact the meals were delivered cooked and just ready to be eaten after a quick zap in the microwave or  cold. My favorite thing was probably the Lazy Lasagna. SO YUMMY. I enjoyed all the “pasta” dishes.

Chef Caroline put together my customized meal plan every week, and I’ve got to say she totally killed it. I’m not a picky eater though, so everything she listed I ate and enjoyed.

I’ll looking forward to seeing what the end result will be for me physically/mentally/emotionally at the end of the 30 days… I’ll touch base again this weekend!
